What is Authorizer?
Authorizer is an open-source authentication and authorization platform that teams can self-host on their own infrastructure. It provides OAuth2 and OpenID Connect login, SAML SSO, SCIM provisioning, passkeys, MFA, and role based access control, plus relationship based fine-grained authorization through an embedded OpenFGA engine. It connects to more than a dozen SQL, NoSQL, and graph databases and exposes GraphQL, REST, and gRPC APIs with SDKs for Go, JavaScript, React, Vue, and Svelte. It is aimed at developers and SaaS teams that want to own their identity layer and keep user records in their own database. It is sold as open source software with a hosted cloud option.
