What is Aserto?

Aserto is a cloud-native authorization service for developers who need to add fine-grained access control to applications and APIs. It provides centrally managed policies, real-time authorizers deployed at the edge, and SDKs and middleware for Node, Go, Python, Java, .NET, and Ruby, plus gRPC and REST APIs. Teams use it for role-based, attribute-based, and relationship-based access models, audit trails of authorization decisions, and integration with identity providers and directories. It is built on open-source components including Topaz and Open Policy Agent. The site offers a demo and quickstarts but does not list pricing plans.
