What is ilo?
ilo is a web tool and API that turns X posts, whole threads, X Articles, profiles and bookmarks into clean Markdown. It is aimed at writers, researchers and developers who want X content inside ChatGPT, Claude, Obsidian or their own notes. Conversions keep the thread order, author details, images with alt text, media links, poll results and Article structure, and an Obsidian format adds YAML frontmatter. The same output is available from the website, a URL swap, a CLI, an MCP server for AI agents and a conversion API. Three conversions a day are free in the browser, then credit packs are sold per post.
