What is Darklang?

Darklang is a functional programming language and hosted platform for developers who want to build command line tools and cloud applications without managing build systems, containers, or infrastructure. It uses simple Record and Enum types, Option and Result types instead of null and exceptions, and garbage collection. A package manager lets any function be called from the CLI or shared with teams, and functions can be deployed to the web or run server-side. It includes an AI prompt feature for generating code. Access requires a login, and the site describes the product as in development.

First ask me three short questions about my team size, budget and what I need it for. Then recommend one plan, tell me what could make it a bad fit, and compare it with the alternatives. Finish with what I should check on the vendor's site before I pay.
