What is Bluelane?
Bluelane is an iPhone app for live location and route sharing. The person recording starts a route in the app and sends a link, and anyone with that link can follow the live position, route so far and distance travelled in a web browser, with no app or account needed. It suits commutes, rides, hikes and other trips where someone wants to be followed. Recording works offline and resumes live updates on reconnect, and route history can be kept with GPX import and export. Apple Watch controls are included. The site offers a demo and a download.
