What is Audemic Scholar?
Audemic Scholar is a reading and listening tool for PhD students and researchers who work through academic papers. Users upload a PDF or import it from a reference manager, then listen to the full text or key statements with neural text-to-speech voices while the text is highlighted as it is read. The tool also offers summaries, highlights and notes synced across devices, section reordering, English to Spanish translation, and accessibility options such as a dyslexic font, adjustable playback speed and background colours. A companion mobile app is included. It is sold with a 7-day free trial and monthly or yearly paid plans.
