What is Alloy?

Alloy is an AI prototyping tool for product managers and product teams. It captures pages from a browser extension or connects to an existing codebase, then lets users prompt changes and preview them in a sandbox that runs the real app. Prototypes can be shared by link for comments, built with a design system library, imported from Figma, and pushed to a GitHub pull request. It is sold with a free start option and paid plans, and sessions can run on a connected Claude or ChatGPT subscription.

First ask me three short questions about my team size, budget and what I need it for. Then recommend one plan, tell me what could make it a bad fit, and compare it with the alternatives. Finish with what I should check on the vendor's site before I pay.
