What is Mermaid?
Mermaid is a remote AI agent for the computer. It is aimed at people who want to get work done on their Mac while away from it, using an iPhone or Android phone to send instructions. The agent opens apps already installed, such as Notes, Mail, Safari, VS Code and Messages, types and clicks as a user would, checks the result and reports back. Live Screen and Take Over let the user step in directly, and consequential actions need approval on the phone.
